Hi Karen,

I just wanted to follow up on the email I sent last week regarding the attached balances. Could you let me know a timeframe for when the open balances are scheduled to be paid? Please let me know if there are any questions.

Thanks,

You need to use the portal for payment.

Karen,

What exactly is the "portal"? Is it as scary as it sounds?

Go to our website and click on the link on the left hand side of the home page that says Vendor Payment Portal. You will have to register under your company's name and then you will be able to see the status of your invoices.

Karen,

I just entered my information and when I clicked on "access payment portal" I was transported to the year 1972. Does this normally happen?

Thanks,

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you not seeing the invoices from this year?

Karen,

I mean that I am in the year 1972. Could you do me a favor and let me know who won the 1972 World Series? It's game 3 tonight and I want to put down a bet with a local bookie but I can't remember who won that year.

Thanks,

I have no idea what you are talking about. If you are having trouble with the portal please contact our tech support.

David, I see that you are making a joke of this but I hope you are aware that your company will not receive any payments from us until your invoices are properly inputted into the vendor payment portal.

Karen,

I'm not too worried about receiving payment from your company because I just thought of a brilliant plan. Since I can pretty much recite every line from "Pulp Fiction," I am going to write the script for it 22 years before it was ever made. I'll send it to all of the Hollywood studios and they'll start a bidding war for the rights to it. I plan on changing one part of the movie, however. There's about a 20-minute sequence where Bruce Willis is with his foreign girlfriend in their motel room and she keeps talking about how she wants blueberry pancakes and nothing much really happens. I'm thinking about spicing this scene up a little bit. I think you know where I'm going with this, but I'll explain in gratuitous detail anyway.

The threesome scene will start with a knock on their door. It's a French maid bringing the blueberry pancakes to Bruce Willis' girlfriend. She enters. We come to find out that the maid and Bruce Willis' girlfriend are from the same small French town! She just came to the U.S. and is very lonely. She de-robes. At first, it's just the maid and Bruce Willis' girlfriend. Then Bruce jumps in. It's all very tastefully done. Actually, it will probably be a young Jack Nicholson in 1972. I think he has the moxie to pull off a scene like this. When they finish, Jack will say to the maid, "Now make the bed and get the hell outta' here" as he lights a cigarette. What do you think?

Thanks,

Karen,

My supervisor has not been born yet. Would you like for me to track down his parents and tell them to conceive him as soon as possible so you could speak to him?
