Hi Dave -

Would it be possible for us to use a credit card to pay Julie's invoices for w/e 11/20 and 11/27?

Thank you,

Ada,

I'm not entirely sure how to set that up, but I know my supervisor could tell me how to do that. Unfortunately, he is out of the office today due to a yeast infection. I believe he will be in tomorrow though.

Thank you,

Ada,

I don't know much about yeast infections, but I would assume that he should be cleared up in a few days or so.

Sorry. I meant do you think he will be able to get this credit card situation cleared up by the end of the week? We have to submit our budget proposals for next year by 12/15, so I'd like to get this squared away ASAP.

Thank you,

Ada,

Whoops! I thought you were inquiring about his yeast infection! I did however look up yeast infections and according to most gynecologists*, it takes anywhere from 3 to 7 days to clear up, so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

It should not be difficult to pay these invoices through a credit card. I just have never done it before and do not know what needs to be done in order to set that up.

*If I were a gynecologist, I would tell people that I was a private investigator and I wouldn't really be lying if you think about it.

Thank you,

Ada,

My supervisor instructed me on what needs to be done in order for a company to be able to pay invoices through a credit card. There are a few security measures that need to be taken, but it seems pretty simple. You will have to go to this website: www.************.com and click on "New User" on the left side of the home page. Then fill out all of the personal information (DOB, address, etc.). You will then be instructed to create 2 usernames - a decoy username and a real username - and a different password for each username (IMPORTANT: make sure the decoy password and the real password do not share any common letters or numbers). Then input your email address within 30 seconds of creating both usernames. Then click "Submit." A confirmation email will be sent to you immediately. DO NOT OPEN THIS EMAIL. This is a decoy email. Your real confirmation email will be sent at a time that corresponds to your birth date (i.e. If you were born on 4/15, you will be sent the confirmation email at 4:15 the following morning.) You will have 11 minutes to open that email and click on "verify my account." If you do not open the email within 11 minutes, the email will automatically be recalled and the FBI will be notified. Once you verify your account, you will see 3 randomly generated playing cards displayed on the screen. Click on whichever card is the highest in value (Aces are considered the highest value. If 2 or more Aces appear on the screen, it will then be ranked by suit. The order goes: spade, diamond, heart, club.) Once you select the highest card, you will then be asked for your username and password. THIS IS A TRICK. Input your decoy username and decoy password and click "OK". The same screen will then pop up again and this is where you input your real username and password. You will then be asked for your credit card information. You will have 30 seconds to input your credit card number and expiration date. Then click "Submit". You will then see a pop up that says "Are you sure you want to submit?" CLICK "NO". A picture of a crying baby will then come up on the screen with the words "Is something wrong?" in a cartoon bubble above the baby's head. Double click the baby's right index finger on the picture and wait. The next screen will show all of your information and will ask you to confirm. Make sure the information is correct and then click "confirm". Let me know if you have any questions.

Dave,

We will just cut a check for these invoices instead.
